"Being a Starfleet Captain is not just about exploring an undiscovered universe, but also when you're surrounded by people waiting for you to determine what happens next, and you realize there's no one above you to confirm that you're right."

"Being a captain means carrying a name shaped by generations of command. It means honoring that history not by repeating it, but by refining it through judgment, restraint, and the strength to choose discipline over pride. Because in the end, a captain is defined not by the battles he fights, but by the conflicts he prevents."

Jimbo

"Being a captain is having the certainty in the voice of command. Being the ayes at the breaking of the horizon, the pen drawing beyond the edge of the map. The voice of reason and the hand of friendship sail the eternal seas and face the cold void."

Akamaru

"Being a captain means standing when everything is uncertain, and still being the one others look to for direction. It's carrying the weight of every choice, knowing you might be wrong but choosing anyway. You feel the fear, the doubt, all of it… you just don't let it control you. That's what makes a captain."

T'Reti

"What does it mean to be a Starfleet officer? To have Courage, courage to explore places where no one has gone before, courage to stand between the dangers of the universe and those who cannot defend themselves. To reach out with a helping hand to enemies of yesterday, so they can become allies of today."
